Delivery and Acceptance Ceremony for 4300 PCTC-08 Contracted to Build by CCIE


         On the afternoon of November 2, 2012, the delivery and acceptance ceremony for 4300 PCTC-08, VIKING SEA, contracted to build by CCIE was held in the conference room of the Administration Building of Nantong Shipyard.
 
         VIKING SEA is another PCTC delivered by CCIE to GCC in Norway with its length reaching 164.8m, width 28m, molded depth 30.09m and draft 8.4m. There are 12 floors of decks, able to carry 4300 cars of different kinds. The dead weight of VIKING SEA is almost one time higher than that of other vessels of the same type and it is also equipped with the most advanced automatic driving and power system in the world. The series of sister-vessels are the very first ones applying the flexible design of single pillar.
